Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor get competitive

The two boys of the younger generation in B-Town, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, are said to have brought the house on fire while making an out and out masala film GUNDAY. During the film’s shoot, they were usually seen bonding while getting into fun and healthy competitions with each other on sets.

One of the favourite pass-time activities of both actors was to get into panja ladao competition where rest of the cast and crew would out their own little bets by taking their favouring sides. In addition, they also got into short races, especially during outdoors, which solved two purposes. First and foremost it helped them indulge in some healthy competition and secondly, it kept them fit as well.

Says director Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Ranveer and Arjun became the best of friends during the film’s making and the chemistry was on fire. There was never a moment one of them came to me and complained about a better line or scene being given to the other person. Guess the personal comfort they shared with each other, especially during the games, united them. For me it worked as a director because though I was working with two people, it just became a one hero film for me.’

This was apparent in the manner in which after all the fun competitions between them, Ranveer and Arjun shared a hearty laugh and went on with their usual camaraderie. This was also apparent at recently held success bash hosted by Deepika Padukone. While Ranveer Singh was already (and obviously) inside the party, he came out at the entrance to specially escort Arjun Kapoor into it.

Guess this is one Jai-Veeru Jodi which is there for the keeps.
