Multan police have filed a snatching and dagger holding case against 2.5 years old boy.
A private TV channel reported that the police have registered a unique case against the boy, identified as Saud, a resident of Multan, for snatching a huge sum of money from plaintiff Rana Farooq by brandishing a dagger.
The incident was filed in December 2013 in Daulatabad police station. Saud’s mother failed to get bail after continuous attempt in a local court.
The mother claimed that the police had registered the case at the behest of Farooq to pressure them in a land dispute. She also said that the plaintiff had told the police that Saud had stolen his mobile phone and Rs 22,000 from his home.
She added that the station house officer had threatened to bulldoze her house in case she failed to give him money.
Later, the police presented the minor boy in a local court.
