Former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf fell sick en-route to the special court for appearance in treason case, a private news channel reported on Thursday.

The special court bench questioned Musharraf’s whereabouts from the DIG security at the hearing.

According to DIG security Jan Muhammad, Musharraf complained of heartache and was immediately taken to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology.

Chief Prosecutor Akram Shaikh objected to Musharraf’s non-compliance to the court orders of December 24 and January 1 to appear for trial upon which Musharraf’s advocate Khalid Ranjha said that the former president faced security threats earlier and had left home to appear in the court today but complained of heartache en-route to the hearing.

On Wednesday, the special couty had ordered Musharraf to appear in court before 11:30 and warned that warrants for his arrest would be issued in case of his absence from the court hearing.

  1. LOLzzz… One lame excuse after another!
This is exactly what a dodger village-schoolboy does to avoid going to school. A brief chronology of events makes dictator Musharraf a laughing stock:
On 18-04-2013 Musharraf "fled" from Islamabad High Court in a SUV convoy.
On 23-04-2013 "Explosive-laden car" was found outside Musharraf's farmhouse in Chak Shehzad.
On 24-12-2013 "a five-kilo Improvised Explosive Device was found in a briefcase" along the route the former dictator would have taken to reach the court.
On 30-12-2013 "five packets each containing 0.5kg explosives were found near Musharraf’s farmhouse".
On 02-01-2014 "explosives with electronic circuits and remote controls were once again found" on the route scheduled to be taken to court by former dictator Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday.
The Government has increased the number of Rangers deployed on his security to 1600 (from 1200) on 02-01-2014.
Then the former Dictator "falls ill" and is taken to the hospital.
Who pounced, "*mei darta warta kisi se nahi hoon*"?
Nature has it's own way of justice… despite the fact that his 18 goons are still making mockery of justice.
One day or the other the Pharaoh has to embrace death penalty
either from the Court of Law or from the Court of Allah!

  2. Musharraf is being air-lifted today from PIMS helipad on pretext of emergency treatment through air-ambulance that is ready there.

  3. MUSHARAF ARMY COMMANDO NAHI WOH GUTTER KA DARPOK CHUHA HAI, KHATRA MEHSOOS HOTEY HI BHAGNEY KI KOSHISH KAR RAHA HAI

  4. All ah may protect Musharraf from all evils. Nation needs Musharraf to get rid of corrupt and incompetent rulers. The judiciary has become a joke..

  5. The man is 70 years old and since his return there is a constant vandetta against him. Though he lives in his house he virtually lives in isolation because of constant threats to his life. Any body would collapse under this pressure. Chest pain in this situation is a serious issue and he needs thorough investigation preferably in a foreign country. If other politicians are allowed to go abroad for investigation so can he! Remember former President Zardari disappeared suddenly in the middle of night to Dubai for medical examination. Musharraf is innocent until proved otherwise. Let him get better first Many polticians including the judiciary are calling for his blood. They should examine their conscious first. It is like the kettle calling the pot block. PS. Even a normal angiogram does not exclude heart disease- I would welcome any discussion with dissenting people including cardiologists.

    • Excuses, excuses, excuses. He had no hesitation in arresting judges, why is he afraid to face the same medicine that he dished out to others, coward.

      • he was justified in arresting the judges….what the judges did in last 5 years..ruined the economy of pakistan,on improvement in the lower judiciary…corruption and corruption

  6. why in foreign country. The expertise is available in the country. If he was a genuine case he would have had definitive treatment given so far.

  7. Mush is a malingerer exactly like Altaf Bhai who used to get himself transported as a blue light emergency to his favourite hospital in Karachi. Both maligerers

  8. What a courageous commando a.k.a. Billa he is!
First he resigned from the office of President (August 2008) because he could not face impeachment trial from the Parliament and now he cannot face a fair trial for high treason.
Hats off to all the brave politicians for spending all those years in jail (during Musharraf's dictatorship) without being convicted in a single case.

  9. HE WILL GO FREE LIKE ALL OTHERS BEFORE HIM, WE AS A NATION REALLY NEED TO WAKE UP AND KICK ALL THESE CROOKS OUT.
