A new case of polio was reported on Wednesday in Karachi, a private news channel reported.
According to reports, a young girl Fatima, resident of Gadap area in Karachi has been diagnosed with an infection of Polio virus National Institute of Health. Her samples were collected on December 19 on detections of symptoms of Polio.
This is the first case of the country in 2014.
In 2013, 85 polio cases were reported from different parts of Pakistan.
