Five persons were killed when a jeep plunged in a canal near Ghotki on Wednesday, a private news channel reported.
According to police, a jeep en-route to Jahan Pur fell into Qazi Wah canal as a result of over-speeding.
Five dead bodies were recovered after a rescue operation and were taken to the morgue.
One survivor of the mishap has been shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
