A Peshawar-bound PIA plane from Karachi made an emergency landing at Sialkot Airport on Tuesday.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the pilot requested the air traffic control for an emergency landing due to a technical fault in the fuel supply of the aircraft and was directed to land at Sialkot Airport.
“It was a normal landing and the passengers and the plane remained safe,” the PIA spokesperson added.
The plane is now parked and is being inspected.
Health Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shoukat Yousafzai and a KP senator were also onboard the aircraft.
