Pillion riding will remain banned on Tuesday overnight to hold back the New Year’s revellers taking the city by night and creating usual hullabaloo.
The notification issued by the home department said that besides ban on pillion ridding, driving motorbike without silencers are prohibited, while aerial firing, firework and carrying weapon, banned for 12 hours from dusk to dawn on January 1.
