One person killed and five other family members were injured in a firing spree on Tuesday morning in BaldiaTown.
According to reports, unidentified gunmen barged into the house of a traffic police employee and opened fire on the sleeping family that resulted in the death of one man and five others including a woman.
The deceased was identified as 22-year-old Adnan and the wounded included 45-year-old Salima Bibi, 18-year-old Tayyaba, 17-year-old Babar, 21-year-old Shahzad and 24-year-old Munawwar.
As per initial reports, the incident seems to be a result of personal animosity. It is however, important to mention that the family head was not present in the house at the time of the assault.
