After the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, the Sindh government has also come forward to take over control of the provincial production and distribution system electricity from the federal government.
Former president Asif Ali Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah reportedly took the decision during a meeting in Larkana on Sunday to mail a letter to the federal government in this regard.
The decision comes after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s order on Sunday to hand over Peshawar Electric Supply Company’s (PESCo) control to the KP regime.
