PHP arrest nine outlaws
Punjab Highway Patrol have arrested nine outlaws and recovered a car, a motorcycle, three pistols, a rifle and 28 litres liquor from their possession.
The outlaws have been identified as Rehmat Ullah, Yaseen, Munib Asif, Faisal, Younis, Iqbal, Aslam, Aaqil and Sajjad.
PHP officials handed over the accused and stolen items to local police for further investigation.
Meanwhile, the officials also found two missing boys Tariq Jameel of Mandi Bahauddin and Shoaib of Bhakkar and handed them over to their parents.
TWO DACOITS ARRESTED:
CIA Model Town police claimed to have arrested two criminals involved in a number of heinous crimes and recovered stolen property besides illegal weapons from them.
A special police team led by CIA superintendent of police (SP) and CIA deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Model Town arrested Ramazan alias Bhola ring leader of the gang and his accomplice Shaukat. They recovered Rs 310,000 in cash, two motorcycles, mobile phones and illegal weapons from their possession.
During preliminary interrogation, the accused confessed dozens incidents of dacoity, burglary and robbery in different areas of the city including Iqbal Town, Hanjerwal, Gulberg, Race Course and Ghalib Market.
DIG Investigation Zulfiqar Hameed announced cash and commendatory certificates for the raiding team.
