Four bodies of the same family, including two children were found near Mauripur area on Sunday morning.
According to police sources, a couple and their two children were kidnapped and then murdered. They were the residents of Musharraf Colony, Mauripur and belonged to the Kachhi community, police said.
Those dead were identified as Muzaffar, 45, his wife Shazia, son Imran and daughter Muneeza.
Earlier, a police constable was gunned down at Gulshan-e-Iqbal this morning.
