Three members of a family in Faislabad suffocated to death due to coal gas that filled up the room while they were asleep, a private news channel reported on Sunday.
According to rescue officials, the family members had burned up coal to warm up the room and went to sleep. As there were no windows or a door left open for ventilation, the coal gas filled the room causing suffocation that resulted in death of three persons.
The incident took place in Saddar area of Faislabad.
