Police have recovered a pistol and some bullets from the possession of a United States (US) solider at the BenazirInternationalAirport in Islamabad on Saturday morning, reported a private news channel.
According to police sources, the US soldier was about to board the plane of a foreign airline where during luggage scanning, the authorities discovered a pistol and bullets in his luggage.
The police said that they were investigating whether the weapon was legal.
However, the identity of the US citizen is kept secret.
