Balochistan Frontier Corps raided two bomb-making factories and recovered huge arms cache at Chaman and Toba Achakzai and forced their closure on Saturday.
FC Operations Commander Lt Col Zafar Iqbal briefed the Southern Command commander Lt General Nasir Khan Janjua and FC IG Major General Ijaz Shahid about the raids and said that huge arms cache were recovered from the closed down factories included suicide jackets, different sorts of bombs, mines and anti-tank mines. Besides suicide bombers were also trained there, added.
Zafar Iqbal also said that each factory had four compounds where high-tech laboratories were set up where different types of chemicals and explosive materials prepared were being tested, while maps of Pakistan and Afghanistan were kept in one of the compounds for training suicide bombers to hit desired locations in the two countries.
