One person was killed and one more injured in Peshawar in yet another attack on the Anti-polio campaigners, a private news channel reported.
The campaign in-charge Zahir Shah was shot down and another official was injured when unidentified men opened fire on them at Peshawar’s Matni hospital.
The incident comes as a latest addition to the string of deadly attacks over the workers of the anti-polio drive in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Previously this month, a polio worker and two police officers guarding the anti-polio campaigners were shot dead in Jamrud and Swabi respectively.
