A meeting between the Director General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India will be held at 11am tomorrow (Tuesday) at Wagah Border, Lahore.
The two military officials, Major General Amir Riaz of Pakistan and Lieutenant General Vinod Bhatia from India, will meet each other after a 14-year span in which the Line of Control (LOC), working boundary situation and other security affairs will be discussed.
They will also discuss LOC violations.
Amir Riaz will represent Pak side in the meeting and Vinod Bhatia will lead the Indian side. It is expected that after the meeting the tensions at both sides of the border will be at ease.
According to sources, the military officials will discuss steps to control the ceasefire violations and improve the border security to protect the civilians across fire.
