Former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf is in hot waters as the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday rejected his all three petitions against the formation of special court, appointment of judges and nomination of prosecutor in the treason case.
Justice Riaz Ahmed Khan announced the brief verdict which was earlier reserved by the court.
The first petition filed by Musharraf, challenged the formation of the special court to hear the treason case. The petition stated that Musharraf had taken the November 03 actions as Army Chief and his trial should be under the Army act.
The second petition filed by Barrister Anwar Mansoor challenged the appointment of the judges for the special court. The third petition, also filed by Barrister Anwar Mansoor, challenged the appointment of Akram Sheikh as prosecutor in the treason case. In these two petitions, Barrister Anwar Mansoor had taken the stance that the appointments were illegitimate.
Musharraf has been summoned by the special court on December 24 to face treason charges under Article 6 of the constitution. He has been accused of subverting, suspending and aborting the Constitution, imposing emergency in November 2007 and detained judges.
Mush lawyers are stupid. They know fully well that these are kangaroo courts. Judges in their own cause, yet they hope to get justice from Dajjal courts.

This so called commando is either cowered or stupid. he over threw the elected government with his eyes and greed wide open and with the full knowledge of his actions. in 2007 he knew what he was doing. he was just intoxicated with the power he had at that time. now that he is being held to account, why can't he be brave enough to face the consequences. army general dare not make the same mistakes

This is same what he did to others while he was all in all of Pakistan.but it is interesting army's new team is not in mood of giving him favor or benefit of doubt this time.
