Three commit suicide; four die of intense cold weather

Three persons including a woman committed suicide while four others died of intense cold weather Sahiwal on Sunday.
Police said that Hassan Bibi belonging to Chak 34/12-L of Sahiwal committed suicide by consuming poisonous pills after exchange of hot words with her husband.
In Jamal Chowk locality, 20-year-old Aftab consumed poisonous pills over failure in love marriage. He was rushed to the hospital after his condition deteriorated but passed away before reaching.
Atta Muhammad, 70, a resident of Gordita area ended his life by consuming poisonous pills over mishaviour of daughter-in-law.
Meanwhile, four persons namely Abdul Ghaffar, Haji Ghulam Muhammad, Talib Hussain and Nazir Ahmed fell unconscious due to intense cold weather and were shifted to Sahiwal DHQ hospital where they all expired.

ROAD MISHAPS: Two persons were killed and three others injured in separate road mishaps in DI Khan, the police said on Sunday.
According to details, in an incident that occurred near Gomal University, a tractor collided with a truck. One, identified as Malik Sher, was killed in the collision while Muhammad Khan sustained critical injuries.
Meanwhile, a speedy auto-rickshaw hit a motorcycle on Darabun Road resulting in the on the spot death of 17 year-old motorcyclist Ramzan.
In the third road mishap, Sameeullah and Syed Wasif were injured when their motorcycle collided with a passenger coach near Makkar Drain.
