Overnight heavy rain and snowfall in Chitral has led to the closure of the Lowari tunnel, a private news channel reported on Sunday.
Lowari tunnel is the only road connecting Chitral to other regions of Pakistan. The snowfall led to suspension of communication systems as well as the road transport due to the tunnel’s shutdown for all kinds of traffic.
Ehh. I was planning for a tour. I hope things get better soon, so people can enjoy the snowfall in northern areas this year.
