A sit-in protest by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is scheduled on Sunday (today) at 12pm at Nasir Bagh Lahore.
According to reports by private news channels, supporters and workers of PTI are arriving at the protest despite the cold weather in the city.
PTI Chief Imran Khan had declared the protest as a democratic right of his party and had stated to the media that at the sit-in protest, PTI will also be introducing a policy for controlling inflation.
He urged the police to not hinder the protestors coming to the sit-in in order to ensure peaceful conduct at the protest which, according to Khan, is a custom of PTI protestors.

First and only hope is ALLAH where is your Emaan ? God helps those who help themselves stop following like sheep. PTI is not a party of saints they have achieved nothing so far and to cover then weakness they are wasting peoples time. NA is the place to fight inflation not on Mall Road.

PTI's so-called anti-inflation rally failed because it had no valid standing. After the failure of dharnas (sit-in) against NATO Supplies (and continuity of Drone attacks killing TTP Commanders), Imran Khan tried to divert the attention of the public by calling another rally.
PTI had most conveniently ignored the fact that it is ruling in KPK and, according to State Bank of Pakistan Inflation Monitor, Peshawar is rated among "High Inflation Cities" as against Lahore, Multan and even Karachi rated among "Low Inflation Cities".
Therefore, anti-inflation rally in Lahore was misplaced whereas it should have been in Peshawar. But wait! Who is the ruler of Peshawar??
Perhaps Imran Khan & his PTI has failed (on many "within 90 days" promises) and wants to become a political martyr (siyaasi shaheed).
Nisar was a brilliant student and Imran was not a good student at all! Please don't forget that Imran Khan has In an interview (televised in November 2013), Sir Langlands has informed that Imran Khan was never a good student and Chaudhry Nisar was a brilliant student!
His student legacies have proven true in thereal world 40years down the road.. Imran Khan has been given jumpstart by former DG ISI General Pasha by overstepping his authority. Hoards of electables were inducted in PTI since then in 2010 (SMQ as Vice Chairman in Nov'11 & MJH as President in Dec'11). As a cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan is suffering from "Attention Deficiency Syndrome" and keeps on yelling on the media. Despite having a government in KPK, he has failed to deliver on his election promises (eliminate terrorism in 90 days, eradicate corruption in 90days, local bodies elections within 90days) where ker than 205 days have lost.
On the other hand, the social media team of PTI ran a malicious campaign against the academic qualification of Nisar Ali Khan, who is even better qualified than Imran Khan. It was because of Nisar that we had our mobile phones working on the two Eid festivals (with exception of 1 incidence in Pindi) and even on Ashura. Even the worst critics acknowledge that Nisar has steered the Targeted Operation in Karachi quite intelligently by keeping ALL stakeholders on board and arresting a large number of target killers & extortionists. If you have been reading the newspapers regularly, you will realize that the crime rate in Karachi has reduced considerably.
Unlike Imran, Nisar is not obsessed with protocols. He has done away the protocol for himself and has been seen driving his own car in Islamabad.

Imran does not need to go on the streets he needs to fight for the people in the NA. All the people in power at present are corrupt from A-Z one way or another.
