Former president and dictator, General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf, is all set to file a review petition against the Supreme Court’s (SC) July 31, 2009 verdict regarding imposition of emergency 2007 on Monday.

A 10-member lawyers team, four-member research team and five-member legal think-tank have been established to investigate, research and finally defend the former dictator.
Musharraf’s lawyers-team consists of Ilyas Siddiqui, Ibrahim Satti, N A Rehman Qureshi, Barrister Saif, Barrister Shahida Jamil, Barrister Kiran Ayub, Ahmad Raza Qasoori, Barrister S J Durrani, Afshaan Adil and Rana Farooq.
Sharif-ud-Din Pirzada, Wasim Sajjad, S M Zaffar and Malik Qayyum have been named as members of research team that will assist field lawyers.
