In targeted operations in different areas of the provincial capital, 50 suspects have been arrested by the Rangers and police, according to a report on Sunday by a private news channel.
According Rangers officials, a commander of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has also been arrested in a raid at Mauripur. The raid was carried out upon secret information.
Lyari Gang war suspect, Ramzan alias Ramzani was arrested during a joint raid by the police and rangers. Ramzan has a 5 lac rupees bounty on his head. The officials also recovered weapons from the arrested.
Three suspects were arrested during raids by Durakhshan police and 16 others were held from other parts of the city.
37 suspects connected to political group and gang wars were also apprehended by the Rangers in search operations. A large number of weaponry was also recovered during the operation.
Nine criminal were held in another operation by East Zone police.
