Criticising the critics of Prime Minister’s Youth Business Loan Scheme, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Central Secretary Information Senator Mushahid Ullah Khan has said that such elements were not ready to repose trust in country’s youth.
Talking to different delegations of people who called on him at the PML-N Central Secretariat, he said that some people could not see the youth making progress and taking active part in the economic uplift of the country and that was why were leveling hollow and baseless criticism on the loan scheme.
The scheme, he said, was an excellent opportunity for the youth of the country to change their destinies for the better. He said 50 percent quota in the scheme had been reserved for women which was a step towards women empowerment.
Mushahid said those who had been making tall claims for the women empowerment had done nothing for that. He said stringent monitoring system would be put in place to save the loan scheme from malpractices and corruption. All possible measure would be taken to make the scheme transparent and result-oriented, he added.
