Federal Minister for Information Pervez Rasheed has asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to concentrate over improving the situation in his party-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province instead of criticising others and taking out rallies.
Talking to reporters on Saturday, Pervez Rasheed said the PTI chief’s advices and suggestions to federal and other provincial governments are of no use till he implements the same in KP to set an example for others.
He said there is wide difference between vows and deeds and one should look into his own character and role before issuing any disparaging statement.
The information minister questioned that PTI, which came into power in KP, with heavy mandate should clarify whether it succeeded to nip the evil of corruption, bringing amendments in excise department and taking action against tax defaulters.
“Has the KP government taken action against profiteers, hoarders, computerised the land record or cleared the police department of politics in accordance with its general election manifesto,” he questioned.
Pervez Rasheed blamed that PTI government has failed in all aspects and it was raising hue and cry over issues which are not related with the KP to veil its failure in fulfilling the aspirations of people of the province.
The information minister said that masses have enough awareness to understand the realities and one ca not deceive them by verbal pledges instead of taking on steps on ground for facilitating them and lessening their problems.
