Supreme Court (SC) has given 15-days time to new inquiry team constituted under court’s orders to probe into Blue area firing case.
A 3-member bench of SC presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took up the case for hearing Wednesday.
Additional Attorney General (AAG) Shah Khawar appeared in the court and told that an inquiry commission has been constituted under retired judge of high court. The commission has started its proceedings, therefore, more time be given so that it could complete its inquiry as soon as possible.
The court allowed 15 days for investigation into the matter and adjourned the hearing for indefinite period.
