At least 10 people have been killed and 67 others injured in separate road accidents caused by dense fog in different parts of Punjab.
As per reports on Tuesday morning, dense fog has engulfed Lahore, Sheikhupura, Daska, Faisalabad, Pindi Bhattiyan, Pind Dadan Khan, Layyah, Okara, Muzzafargarh, Malisi, Lodhran and other areas of Punjab.
A car collided with another car near Ghora Chowk in Defense Phase-III, killing four people including Mishal, 20, Aneeza, 16, Tariq, 23, and Ghulam Nabi, 35.
Separately, a person on motorcycle died after his bike collided with a truck on Main Boulevard, Johar Town.
In Okara, five people were injured in different roads accidents. A motorcyclist died on the spot after hitting a truck on Depalpur Road.
Moreover, two people were killed when their motorcycles collided on Fatehpur Road in Layyah.
Separately in Mananwala, at least 13 people were injured when a passenger bus hit a truck while at least 15 passengers were hurt when a mini-bus crashed into a nullah in Kot Pindidad.
Furthermore, domestic and international flights remained affected at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport whereas the traffic police have advised people to refrain from driving on motorway due to zero visibility and urged the drivers to switch on fog lights while traveling.
