A policeman was injured when a remote controlled Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detonated near a police mobile van on Tuesday, according to a private news channel.
The explosive device struck a police mobile van when it was patrolling on Kohat Road. The explosion injured a cop while partially damaging the vehicle.
According to the police, the device was planted by the roadside and was detonated through a remote control, targeting the police vehicle passing by. The police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
