The Supreme Court of Pakistan has accepted Imran Khan’s thumb print petition for preliminary hearing and has ordered the Election Commission’s secretary to submit para-vise reply over verification of votes of four constituencies including NA-125, NA-154 during general elections within 15 days.

In the short order, the SC said that the court does not want to go into details whether rigging occurred or not.

The apex court also directed the Lahore and Multan election tribunals to report within 15 days.

While talking to media outside the SC premises Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) chief Imran Khan said, expecting democracy not possible without free and fair elections.

  5. it is vital that the elections are NOT RIGGED for democracy to take hold in pakistan. Nawaz Sharif and his beloved brother must not be allowed to steal elections fron NOW ON.

  6. If election reform was done prior to actual election as demanded by Dr T Qadri…today none would be complaining……but those dishonest political parties made such hue and cry against Dr. Qadri…now nobody believes that election 2013 was fair…..

Is it the ideology that all top slots are fulfilled without any elections?
Shah Mahmmod Qureshi jumped into **PTI bandwagon** in November2011 and was directly inducted as Vice Chairman. Javed Hashmi was directly inducted in PTI in December 2011 as President. Now where are the sham intra-party elections ideology??
Despite doling them high offices, Imran Khan is still the **one-man show** in PTI. He has been clinging to Chairmanship for the last 18 years and has indicated to run for another two terms!
A number of its members have been disqualified for holding **fake degrees**. Aren't Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Yousaf Ayub and Ayela Malik some of the glaring examples of deceiving the electorate??
Imran Khan has gone back from his election promises:
He had promised to **eliminate terrorism within 90 days**. More than 202 days have passed but their is no end to terrorism that has swallowed the lives of over 300 people, none of whom was ever involved in drone strikes!
He had promised to **eliminate corruption within 90 days**. But no significant step has been taken in implementing anti-corruption laws or publicly hanging a corrupt bureaucrat!
He had promised to **hold local bodies elections within 90 days** though Balochistan has already conducted elections and Punjab & Sindh are going to conduct the local bodies elections in January2014. but despite passage of 203 days there is no date for local bodies elections in KPK at least during the next 100 days!
After having miserably **failed** to fulfill any of the promises, Imran Khan is trying to become a "**siyaasi shaheed**".
It is but quite logical for the PTI opportunists to ***make hay while the sun shines*** before they miss the boat forever!

    • Do you have any morals in life, i very much doubt it. Parasites like you are the cause of all issues. Next try to do some research before posting trash.

KP as announced by PTI will hold elections based on biometrics, unlike fake elections held everywhere else in the country. KP will take the lead in this and go even further by letting the judicial officers supervise the polls.

  8. Great news!!!, if we can not correct our mistakes now and be prepared for future elections, no point having democracy or calling ourselves a democratic nation. If certain people whether individually or collectively broke the laws, then they must be punished and a better alternative to this system found. Otherwise incompetency and corruption will have no limits.

    well done PTI.
