Tehreek-e-Nifaz Fiqa Jafferia (TNFJ) leader Allama Abbas Nasir Kazmi’s murder case has been registered against two unidentified assailants in the Garden Town police station on the complaint of his driver on Monday.
Police said that the body of Allama Nasir Abbas Kazmi has been sent to the hospital for post mortem, while the angry demonstrators, staging sit-in since last night are demanding resignation of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and arrest of the killers.
Multan TNFJ leader Nasir Abbas after addressing a Majlis at Shadman Town was on way to Jauhar Town and when his car reached near the F.C. College, the assailants riding motorbikes opened indiscriminate firing, resulting in the death of Allama Abbas Nasir Kazmi, however Allama’s companion Ghulam Abbas and his driver Munawwar escaped unhurt.
