A roadside planted bomb killed three bomb disposal squad personnel including in-charge of the unit near Sheikh Mohammadi on Monday morning.
According to media reports, a low intensity blast occurred in Badaber area last night and the unit was on its way to the blast scene.
When the vehicle was passing through the outskirts of Badaber, a remote controlled bomb device exploded, killing the unit in-charge Abdul Huque and two officials, while others were severely injured. The vehicle was completely destroyed and the injured were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital, where they reported to be in critical condition.
