Unidentified assailants stabbed a Japanese diplomat in Yemen on Sunday.
According to Japanese embassy, the diplomat who worked as consul and second secretary at the embassy was stabbed five times by the attackers. The attack took place when the diplomat was on a drive in the capital.
The motive behind the attack has not been ascertained as yet.
