Unrest in D.I.Khan PK-67 by-election polling

Two persons were injured in aerial fiirng and grenade attacks at polling stations set up for the PK-67 by-election on Sunday.

Women have been barred from voting in the polling station at Union Council Garhi Shamozai.

Polling for PK-67 seat of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly is underway which will be continuing until 5:00pm in the evening on Sunday, according to a private news channel.

The seat PK-67 fell vacant when the former provincial minister for law, Israrullah Gandapur was killed in a suicide attack.

36 out of the 91 polling stations, set up for the by-election, have been declared as highly sensitive.

Law enforcing personnel has been deployed at the polling stations to ensure security.

According to the Provincial Election Commissioner, more than 10,8000 voters will be casting their votes today.
