With their respective films GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN, BULLETT RAJA and R…RAJKUMAR that were set for back-to-back release, trio Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were pitted against each other as to who would take over whom. While the chances were bright for all the three films to click well with the audience, it was Shahid Kapoor’s R…RAJKUMAR directed by Prabhu Dheva which eventually won over hearts, leaving behind Saifeena! Despite being shunned by critics, the film went on to charm the aam junta.
Elated with the response, the actor even threw an impromptu party to celebrate the success of his first full on action role R…RAJKUMAR, which has been lapped by the audiences, last night at Olive Bar, Bandra. Also present on the occasion were Genelia D’souza & Riteish Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha, Pritam, Vikramaditya Motwane, Krishika and Sunil Lulla, Ayan Mukerji, Prabhu Dheva, Sandhya Mridul, Vishal Bhardwaj, Parmeet Singh and Archana Puran Singh, Anurag Kashyap, etc.
