Former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf’s indictment was deferred by an accountability court in Islamabad on Saturday at hearing of the Rental Power Plants case. The matter was adjourned to January 13, 2014.
According to a private news channels, the former PM appeared in the accountability court with his advocate Farooq H Naek who informed the court of an application related to the case under hearing at the Lahore High Court. Naek argued that a reference in the accountability court can only be filed after LHC’s decision.
