According to sources, PIA Flight PK 711 was to fly to New York from Lahore airport at 6: 15am on Saturday when the flight captain and his co pilot refused to take off on the reason that they were not served hot snacks in the breakfast.

The airport authorities had to send out a van to a local hotel which bought the chosen breakfast for the pilots after which they agreed on taking flight

Meanwhile,  almost 250 passengers of PK 711were stranded on the airport for hours until the pilots’ agreement. The flight finally took off for New York around 9:30am.

  1. Give them snacks only if they keep up to their flight schedule. What a joke. Sack them straight away for such a nonsense behaviour and casting taxpayers millions in fines and fuels.

  2. Fake news! Pilots were not served food at all. Another failure by PIA and Pak media. They can’t fly without eating food.
