A student in Colorado USA shot and wounded two students in school before shooting himself to death on Friday.
According to police sources, the student bought a shotgun to the school and was looking for a certain teacher when he was confronted by a female fellow classmate, who was shot and wounded by the gunman.
The teacher had left the school after he learned of being the gunman’s target.
On getting the reports of the incident, the school was placed on lockdown and heavily armed policemen stormed the building and launched a search operation.
The female student who had been shot by the gunman was found in a critical condition and was shifted to a hospital. Another student was found injured by a gunshot.
Authorities also found the student who was believed to be the gunman, dead from an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound.
The identity of the suspected gunman has not been revealed to the authorities.
The incident took place a day before the anniversary of the Sandy Hook school shooting in Newtown Connecticut which left 20 children dead.
