Newly appointed Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani on Saturday visited the Lahore Registry of Supreme Court after assuming the charge of the top judicial office.
On this occasion, a large number of lawyers warmly received the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) at Lahore Registry and a smartly dressed contingent of the Punjab police presented him with guard of honor.
Police adopted stringent security measures on the arrival of Justice Tassaduq at the premises of Supreme Court Registry.
The chief justice had arrived Lahore from Islamabad on Friday evening.
