Two policemen were shot dead by unidentified men in Swabi on Friday.
According to police, the policemen were on their way to provide security to a polio team when they were attacked by unknown men at Topi Road, killing one at the spot while critically injuring the other who succumbed to his wounds in a hospital.
No group has yet claimed responsibility.

To think that people have to risk their lives in order to immunize children from this terrible disease is despicable…what kind of heartless idiots would attack police and health workers performing this vital service to the children of Pakistan?…anyone who openly or covertly supports the Taliban should be arrested for aiding the enemy…
