Seven people have been killed and 22 others injured in separate road accidents in Punjab today (Wednesday).
At least four persons were killed and 18 others injured in a head-on collision between two passenger buses near Muridke.
The incident took place near Kala Khatai Mor.
According to rescue sources, seven women and two men have been shifted to the Lahore’s Mayo Hospital whereas others have been discharged after treatment.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the incident has occurred due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.
On the other hand, three persons were killed and four others sustained injuries when a passenger bus travelling from Sadiqabad to Faisalabad collided with a truck trolly on Duniyapur Road in Lodhran.
Two students including Rashid and Imran were among those killed in the incident.
Meanwhile, a group of agitated students torched the bus.
