Sindh Rangers have claimed picking up 32 suspects during raids in different parts of Karachi during the last 24 hours.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday, the targeted raids were conducted in Yousaf Goth, New Karachi Sector 5/A-4, Mominabad, Khadda Market, Phool Patti Lane, Baghdadi, Chakiwara and Kikri Ground – Lyari, Badar Chowk – Orangi, Pak Colony, Bakra Piri, Lines Area, Chanesar Goth, Majeed Colony, Karnal Basti, Bhittai Colony, Mehran Town, Lassi Goth, Gulshan e Zia, Dastagir, Pakistan Chowk, Ittehad Town, Malir Khokrapar, Shah Faisal Colony, Bajori Para and Landhi areas last night.
Besides this, snap checking was also carried out in Bahadur Yar Jang Road, Jamma Market, Check Post Number 6 Gulshan e Iqbal, Block 13 Gulkistan-e-Johar and Qaddafi Chowk – Bin Qasim areas.
During the above mentioned actions 32 hardened criminals were arrested, and weapons including SMGs, Sniper Rifles and mixed ammo were recovered.
