The city police conducted a raid near Lyari Expressway in the mid of Tuesday-Wednesday night and arrested an extortionist and target-killer involved in the murder of six people.
According to SSP East Pir Muhammed Shah, Mobina Town police were tipped off regarding the presence of a target killer in Rajput Colony near Lyari Expressway. Police, moving into a sting action, arrested the killer, who during preliminary investigations confessed to having killed at least six people.
SSP East said that the accused demanded extortion money from a person in Mobina Town and subsequently gunned him down after he was denied the payment of the money.
