Sindh Minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Manzoor Wassan has said that it is difficult to overcome the widespread corruption in state institutions.
Addressing a ceremony on Wednesday, Manzoor Wassan said that no field including politics, business and even bureaucracy is free of corruption.
He said that solid and long term policies and strategies were needed to be chalked out to get rid of the menace of corruption gradually and couldn’t be annulled at once.
The provincial minister said that to conquer corruption found in each and every government as well as private institutions will take some time to mend the situation.
Manzoor Wassan said that thousand acres of government owned land is illegally occupied by grabbers from Ghotki to Karachi but no action was taken against them.
The PPP leader said that action against patwaris cannot end corruption from the country and all law violators would have to be dealt with iron hands on equality bases as all citizens are equal in the eyes of law.
