Sindh Minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Manzoor Wassan has said that it is difficult to overcome the widespread corruption in state institutions.

Addressing a ceremony on Wednesday, Manzoor Wassan said that no field including politics, business and even bureaucracy is free of corruption.

He said that solid and long term policies and strategies were needed to be chalked out to get rid of the menace of corruption gradually and couldn’t be annulled at once.

The provincial minister said that to conquer corruption found in each and every government as well as private institutions will take some time to mend the situation.

Manzoor Wassan said that thousand acres of government owned land is illegally occupied by grabbers from Ghotki to Karachi but no action was taken against them.

The PPP leader said that action against patwaris cannot end corruption from the country and all law violators would have to be dealt with iron hands on equality bases as all citizens are equal in the eyes of law.

  1. Mr Wassan…You are spot on on this statement…..the best part is that all are equal in eyes of law….This is the first step to control corruption.

Mr Qazi Jamal Mustafa, DC Karachi is prime example. lets try him as a test case for bureaucracy. It will be easier for you since he will not be supported by them as he is not one of them even. Unqualified person is holding more charges than just of being DC south.

Mr Qazi J Mustsfa has bought 1,000 sq yard house in DHA Karachi for Rs 70 Million this year. Three years ago he was credit card defaulter and now owner of properties here and in Dubai, How did he manage all this.

We would appreciate if he can also impart this business acumen with others so that every citizen of the province can benefit from his experience.

Mr Qazi J Mustafa claim to fame according to him is his relations with politicians and this way general public will also get the signal of your statement.

lets do it Mr Wassan. God Bless
