Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said his party will not let the local bodies’ (LB) elections be conducted until it is given the assurance of transparency in the polls.
Addressing a PTI workers convention on Monday, Khan said the country could not enjoy fruits of democracy sans free and fair elections.
He said the PTI-led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the only government that had sacked its allied ministers over corruption charges.
Khan predicted that eh LB elections in Punjab would not be transparent. He said the KP government would introduce biometric system in LB polls.
