The Ansar Burney Trust International, a human rights organisation, had filed a petition against land grabbers in the Sindh High Court (SHC). The filed petition complained about the corruption, illegally raised constructions, unlawful possessions and conversion of amenity plots in the metropolitan city.
The Human Rights former federal minister and Chairman of Ansar Burney Trust International said that the entire city has become hostage by the land grabbers under the patronage of government officials and administration.
He said that the trust’s in-charge Shagufta Burney and manager Mohammad Danish Ali appeared on behalf of Ansar Burney Trust and filed the constitutional petition against land mafia, land grabbers and administration.
Ansar Burney said that this petition is a part of his anti-corruption campaign which was announced earlier.
