At least three persons were killed and three others injured in exchange of fire between armed men of two rival tribes on Sunday.
Police said that members of two groups, which were in old enmity over various disputes hailing from tehsil Garhi Yaseen of Shikarpur, traded fire.
In retaliation, three persons including Ramazan Lolai, Parvez Dahani and Shaukat Dahani were killed while three others sustained wounds. The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Shikarpur for treatment. Heavy contingent of police reached the scene and brought the situation under control. Panic gripped the area due to triple murder and heavy firing.
