The Dengue spray used in Karachi recently has turned out to be ineffective.
According to reports, the chemical used in anti-dengue spray was less than prescribed quantity.
Sources said anti-dengue drive had been in full swing across Karachi for the last three months, however, all efforts proved to be in vain as the disease continued to spread, affecting more and more people with each passing day.
The provincial health department conducted laboratory test of the spray, after which it was dawned upon them that the spray was actually ineffective.
It is pertinent to mention here that this year more than 5,000 people have been tested positive with dengue fever in Karachi, however, 31 people have already lost their lives.
