Rawalpindi Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has recorded statement of Dr Qasim of Rawalpindi District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) in Benazir assassination case.
As per reports, ATC led by Judge Chaudhry Habibur Rehman took up Benazir assassination case for hearing Saturday. The Court recorded the statement of Dr Qasim who had provided treatment to those who were injured and had conducted postmortem of victims of Liaqat Bagh incident.
Dr Qasim told the court that he had provided treatment to the injured persons and that he had found bodies of most of the injured persons burnt. He also stated that he had worked out medical report of 10 injured persons.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till December 14. Lawyers will cross question the witnesses during the next hearing.
