Sindh Rangers during the last three months has conducted 1,003 targeted raids in different localities of Karachi and arrested 978 criminals including 14 terrorists, 104 target killers, 143 extortionists and 12 kidnappers.
The Rangers has started its current drive against the terrorists, target killers, extortionists and kidnappers on September 5 this year, said the Sindh Rangers PRO in a statement on Thursday.
As many as 1,714 weapons of different caliber including LMGs,
SMGs, Uni Barrel Rocket launchers with ammunition, rifles, shotguns, pistols, hand grenades, crackers and bullet proof jackets were also recovered.
During last two months, Rangers have conducted 21 encounters with criminals during which 37 terrorists/criminals were killed and 10 abductees were rescued while two Rangers personnel also embraced martyrdom.
