Militants bombed a state-run primary school for girls early on Friday morning.
According to police, unidentified men had planted explosive material in the school in Saru area of Shabqadar tehsil of Charsadda.
The explosion destroyed two rooms of the school but no loss of life was reported as the building was vacant at the time of blast.
Police took the school’s night watchman into custody and began investigation.
